Network Access From Home
Accessing the EB Network @ Home
Windows Users
Click on "Start." Go up to "Search" and click
on it.
A new box will pop up and give options to search for. Click on "Computers or People."
When the window pops up, click "A computer on the network."

When it ask for a computer name type in "209.56.134.5" for students and "209.56.134.2" for staff and click "Search."
At the next window you must right click on the icon that says "Mac OS X(209.56.134.5)" for students or "Mac OS X(209.56.134.2)" for staff. Go down the menu and click to "Create Shortcut."
Once you have clicked to "Create Shortcut" it will ask you if you want to put it on the desktop because it can't be place here. You want to click "Yes." From this point on you just click on the icon on the desktop and log in as you normally would at school.
When you work on a file at school or home, you will need to
save it in an application that your computer at home can read: e.g.
Text, Microsoft Word PC, Microsoft Works PC. You will be able to
open these at school with Appleworks.

Macintosh Users
Go to the Apple Menu, click and drag down to
highlight "Chooser".
Double Click on the "AppleShare" icon and then click on the
Server IP Address.
Enter: 209.56.134.5 for students or 209.56.134.2 for staff. Now click "Connect" and continue to
login as you would at school.
