General Information
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month
@ 6:00 PM in the Library Media Center (unless there is a scheduling
conflict--call the president or any board member to confirm the date
and time). We greatly appreciate all participation whether it be an
hour of your time, a donation of food or your thoughts in helping us
brainstorm for our next project. We only ask that you give, and we
greatly appreciative of that! We spread our funds throughout grades
K-12 as best as we see fit. As there is always a need at East Buchanan,
we need to work together to accomplish those needs, and we welcome your
support.
PTO Makes a Difference!!
The East Buchanan PTO has played a large role in many
activites (such as Red Ribbon Week with the "Dancing Chicken") over the
past years. Your help has enabled the PTO to purchase these items:
Playground equipment, Stickers, Router Base, Library Books, Ribbons for
Field Day, Computers, Scanners and Software, Encyclopedias, Automated
Weather Source, K-5 Classroom Dictionaries, and Digital Camera
We also cover the cost of assemblies, graduation decorations, a
scholarship, name plates for new teachers, and treats for Friends and
Family Day. We host the March Read-A-Thon, sponsor a "Meet the
Candidates" night and Box-Tops for Education programs.
New Addition to Playground Equipment!
Dear
East Buchanan Patrons, As many of you drive by our school, you can see
the new addition of playground equipment found on the southwest corner
of the school. The equipment was purchased by the East Buchanan PTO
with the profits from the 2002-2003 fundraiser. If you were a student
selling, a big high five to you! If you were a parent, relative, neighbor, or friend buying items, a loud applause to you!
By supporting PTO you will help fill the needs of our school. A very
busy group of volunteers dedicated two days of hard work to put it all
together: Rex and Renee Franck family, George and Paula Aberle family,
Brian and Bridgette Monaghan, Todd and Holly Mueller, Dan Fox, Lois
Johnson, Dave and Mary Beth Flexsenhar family, and Ken and Kathy Kehrli
family. We greatly appreciate your time and diligent work for our
students recess fun!
