Student Medication Policy
Student Medication Policy @ EBCS

It is the policy of the East Buchanan Community School that whenever a student should have a prescription medication or over-the-counter medication administered by the staff at school, written authorization and instruction must be provided by a parent or legal guardian. Only medication prescribed by a physician will be administered.
We can not by law give any medication if it is not in the original prescription bottle. The following information is to be on the original prescription bottle and properly labeled by a registered pharmacist:
- students name;
- name of medicine;
- dosage;
- physician;
- time medication is to be given at school.
For long-term medicine, do not send more than one months supply. Please download and complete the form and return it to the school if your son/daughter needs to take medication during school hours.
