This database of Associated Press Archive photos, text and sound, allows teachers and students to incorporate information, photos and sounds from AP stories, into reports, term papers and presentations. Contains 700,000 photos from 1860+. There are also 500,000+ audio clips from 1920+.
Also contains current photos and articles from around the world. Some search tips are to use the last name first while searching for a person. Spell out all locations you are searching for. Use single quotation marks around a phrase such as 'Oklahoma City bombing rescue'. This web site is not case sensitive. Make sure to check the web site for copyright restrictions. It's simple to do a searh in the accuNet/AP Multimedia Archive. Just enter your search criteria in the WHAT, WHEN and/or WHERE fields at the top of the search page, and then click on SEARCH or hit ENTER on your keyboard.

A periodical database that contains 500 magazines of full text education journals and ERIC. ERIC includes more than 2,200 digests, along with references for additional information and citations and adstracts from over 980 educationrelated journals. Included are images, photos, maps, charts, tables, and graphs. It also contains biographies of many characters in the world. There are book reviews and a dictionary. Other helpful resources include the CIA World Factbook and health and science related pamphlets.
For younger students there is the World Almanac for Kids, 50 children's magazines, 100 pamphlets and reference books.
