Welcome to our Spanish Inquisition page!! At first we were given the assignment to read a few short stories written by Eager Allen Poe. One of the short stories our teacher assigned was “The Pit and the Pendulum”, which was based on the Spanish Inquisition. To help understand the different religions and societies of the world she assigned us to create this web page. Through this assignment we have learned many new concepts about the religious battles which spanned hundreds of years. Religious battles showed us there are differences in the societies, but we should live as one.
