Why Is This Place Famous?

7th Grade "Why Is This Place Famous" Projects

The 7th Grade Social Studies classes are researching several of the world's most famous places for an oral presentation. They took the information they gathered for these presentations and develop informational web pages.

Using Simple Text, students will design and construct their web pages. In doing this, each student will learn basic HTML commands along with page layout skills. Students will use Color Picker as a resource to locate a background color. These web sites will feature the results of the research and a graphic of their famous place. Students will use a variety of web sites to locate a graphic of their famous place.
