Baseball in April

For our 8th grade inter discipline unit we did many activities. In science we created an mPower presentation about how baseball uniforms, gloves, bats, and balls changed from how they were before, In social studies we got to pick out if we wanted to do a web page or an mPower presentation, we did them over a variety of different things from who created baseball to the different players, In literature we read short stories and had to answer questions about each story, In english we did reports on different baseball players and teams, In advanced english we created baseball brochures over the history of different baseball teams, when we were all done with that we traveled to Dyserville (the site of the Field of Dreams) we learned how the movie was filmed and how they did some of the special features. When the guy was done talking we got to play baseball on the field that the movie was filmed on.
