Location:

    It was finally done in 1648 on the banks on the river of Yamuna on Agra, the capital of Mughal monarches; which is in India.

Absolute Location:

    Its absolute location is 27 degrees North and 78 degrees East.
    I would have to go South West to get there from Waterloo.

My Place is Famous for:

    My place is famous because it is the 8th wonder of the world.
    The Taj Mahal was built by a Muslim, Emperor Shah Jahan for is wife the queen Arumand Banu.

Description:

    Western historians have said that this type of beauty has never been shown as a building and it took many years to do.

    The Taj Mahal building is made of White Marble; it is a tomb.

    The whole building is lightly dimed through pierced marble lights and carved marble.

    The outside is surrounded by gardens and water fountains.

Three Interesting Facts:

    1) It took twenty thousand workers to build it.It took 21 years to build the Taj Mahal.
    2) It was completed in 1648 it was 32 billion Rupees.
    3) Shah Jahan's real name was Shahab-ud-din, and he was known as Prince Khurram before dying on the throne in 1628.
