New York

History: The first European to reach New York was Giovanni de Verrazano. He reached New York's harbor in 1524. A French Fur trader named Samuel de Champlain came to New York in 1524 also. During the World War 2 New York shiped troops and weapons to Europe.

Population: New York population is 7,322,564 people (Just New York City)

Location: New York's relative location is West of New Jersey and East of the Atlantic Ocean. New York's absolute location is 41 degrees North and 74 degrees West

Sites: Some sites to see are the Statue of Liberty , The Empire State Building, and Central Park.
