Reflections on the Assasination of JFK
Essays on the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy
Few events in contemporary American History have affected the lives of those living at that time as the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963.
8th grade students at EB were asked to interview people who were living at the time of the assassination in an attempt to try to find out the effect this event had on their lives. It provided an excellent opportunity for these students to take on the role of a historian to record the reflections of those who remember the event.
Students were then asked to prepare an essay reporting their findings and to select graphics and/or sound files to illustrate this event or the life of President Kennedy.
