Are you looking for the challenge of a lifetime? Why dont you gather the neccesary materials and climb Mt. Everest. These are some of the things you might need!
You will of course need proper clothing. There are many different clothing articles you will need, such as the proper footwear, coats, and headgear.
Climbing boots are probably the best footwear, and with those, you do not want tightly fitting boots, and heavy socks.
Along with a warm coat, you would also want sunscreen, and lip balm, mitts and/or gloves.
Besides clothes, you also need cooking utensils and regular tools. Duffel bags are also something you will need to carry everything you brought!
While you are climbing the mountain, you need to be aware of avalanches. The cause of many avalanches is bad weather. Some disturbances are heavy winds, earth tremors, (mini earthquake) and explosions that send snow sliding down the side of the mountain. Many skiers have been the main cause of many earthquakes. If one is not saved with in 30 minutes of an avalanche they will die because of the severe temperature.
The air pressure on Mt. Everest is 29.028 feet.
Many people have tried to climb Mount Everest and not succeed. About 50 teams will attempt to climb Mount Everest during the summer of 2001. About 27 of those groups will succeeded. This is a very dangerous task and not many will succeed.
Mt. Everest is 29,029 feet the height of the top surface of the snow capped mountain or the peak of the rock itself hidden under the snow? If it means the height of the top
snow surface, how is the depth of the snow? Mt. Everest is believed to be elevating in the view of geological age. Then, is the height kept constant throughout a year? These doubts arose when I examined photographs of triumph on the world highest summit.
They dont eat much food, they drink a lot of water!
When you go it is much colder and the air is freezing. Because is different and there is a air pressure called atmospheric pressure. And because of that they have no other choice than to use supplemental oxygen.
The oxygen that they take has less water molecules and then the water that they drink is much warmer and that helps them so that they are warmer going up the mountain.
We hope we have convinced you to climb Mt. Everest!
