Many also enjoy spending time in the Patagonia area. Most tourists enjoy the seeing the widest street in the world, Avenida Nueve de Julio.

5. Two of the most famous people from Argentina are the famous rulers of Argentina, Juan Peron and his wife Eva Peron. Many probably know that if you have the seen the musical or movie, Evita. Juan and his wife Eva were very important to the Argentinaen society. They were cultural icons as well as leaders. Other famous people of Argentina are Diego Mardonna, Carlos Gardel, and Marienella Forconessi. Diego Mardonna was a great soccer player who lost to drugs. Carlos Gardel is a famous Latin singer. Marienella Forconessi is a famous childrens artist who captures the happenings of everyday children.

6. Some favorite dances of the Argentineans that you might want to try on your trip are the social dance, the tango, and the basic step. Some places to dance in Buenos Aires are the Argentina Dance Hall, and The Bridge to the Tango.
7. Many of you probably think that all you eat in South America is tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. You are wrong! There is so much more to chose from like: pastas, sea food, vegetarian cuisines, sweet breads, grilles or smoked meals, and much more. Sure they eat average mexican dishes, but what would you chose? A taco over a delicious bowl of shrimp covered in rich marinara sauce?
8. There is not a lot of variety in what clothes you might want to bring. The temperatures are usually opposite of the northern hemisphere. If you plan on spending time in the more mountainous areas you should bring something a little warmer.
9. The Argentineans native dress is somewhat different from what you might wear on any average day. In urban areas you can find most of the people wearing modern European-style clothing. In the more populated areas, especially around Buenos Aires, you will find most Argentineans wearing traditional dress. Early "cowboys" of Argentina are called Guachos. In the Pampas and Patagonia area of Argentina both men and women wear Guacho style clothing.
