Interesting Facts:

  • Niagara Falls is split into three major waterfalls. They are: the American Falls (to the far left), Bridal Veil Falls (the smallest waterfall, just right of American Falls), and the Canadian "Horseshoe" Falls(the biggest one in the horseshoe shape. All the way to the right).
  • A popular thing to do years ago, was to go down the falls in a barrel. Annie Taylor was the first person to do it. It was said that she was 43 at the time. It was later said that she was really 63.
  • During winter there is a Festival of Lights. They have fireworks over the falls, and flash colored lights on them.
  • There is also a Niagara river, and a Niagara lake. Many parks and gardens are found near them.
