  • Location: Angel Falls is located in southeastern Venezuela, and empties into the Rio Churon river. It is found in Canaima National Park

  • Absolute Location: 62 degrees north and 6 degrees west.

  • My Place is Famous for: Angel Falls is famous for its breathtaking height, and beautiful scenery. The trees and the silvery blue water are what make it so beautiful.

  • Description: Angel Falls is surrounded by a mountainous area, and thousands of trees. People walking within a radius of 1 mile may still get sprayed with mist at certain times of the year. It has beautiful scenery and landscape.

  • Three Interesting Facts:
    Angel Falls is over 1,000 feet taller than the second largest waterfall in the world. It has two other names, which are Tulume Bena and Big River Falls. It was named after the discoverers last name, Jimmy Angel.
