Location: Bordered by Ukraine in the north, Russia in the northeast, Georgia in the east, Turkey in the south, and Bolgeria and Romania the west.
Size: 730 miles from east to west, and 180 miles is the shortest distance from north to south. Surface of Black Sea is 178 square miles. The Black Sea is over 7,350 feet deep.
Discovered by: Ancient Greeks discovered the Black Sea, and made it there home .( No date given.)
Nick name: The inhospital sea.
Name: From the wild and dangerous storms that occur on the sea.
Interesting imformation: Greeks called it the inhospital sea, but as the colonist came they said it was hospital and you could live on the sea.
