Dead Sea

Location: The Dead Sea is located between Jordan and Isreal, it’s about 31 degrees north and 36 degrees west and it is 400 m below Sea Level. It also lies in the hills of Judea.
Size: Tthe Dead Sea is one of the smallest seas in the world it’s only about 50 miles long and 11 miles wide.
Discoverd by: No one knows the one specific person who discoverd the Dea sea but we do know that it was discoverd by the Isreals around 323 b.c
§ Name: The dead sea got it's name from two reasons. one was that supposedly two cities are sunken in it and that if you swim in it you will float without trying. Interesting Information: Some interesting informaton about the Dead Sea is that it is also called a lake and it is the oldest know Sea in the world.It is also one of the smallest Seas.
