The Amish lifestyle is different then both of ours. Katie and I use a lot of electricity things and the Amish can't because of their religion. The similar things are, the they play games, mostly eat the same foods, and trivial. Learning about the Amish has helped us realized that the that we would have to become a part of the amish society if we want to marry a Amish person or something like that.
I think that the most interesting things about the Amish is that their religion wont let them us anything that has to do with electricity, and if they want to marry someone outside of their religion that person has to join the Amish church, and that both have to be baptized to the Amish society.
I don't think that the people that live near Hazelton and Kalona act like the Amish because they use a lot of electricity and cars and not horse and buggy.
