Top 100 Personalities of the Millenieum




As the world moves into the year 2001, East Buchanan 8th grade students created web projects on the top 100 personalities of the 20th millenieum as selected by Biography Magazine.

Students researched their person using a variety of print and Internet sources. They used at least 5 sources (minimum of 2 print and 2 Internet resources). Students provided a statement of why they selected the person, a brief biographical background (birth, death (if applicable), parents, education received, nationality, etc), a listing of the person's accomplishments and/or achievements and the impact they felt the person had on life in the 20th century. These summaries were word processed, using Appleworks and then converted to HTML. Each student coordinated colors and links on their web pages.
